Looking back on everything we've been able to be a part of this trip has been amazing. We got chances to do outreach to people who might not otherwise hear the gospel. We got to witness God move powerfully in the services. Overall we just got the opportunity to be used by God to effect eternity for some people. So with last nights service being the last one, today we got a chance to wind down before we drive back home. We were blessed with the opportunity to be able to go to Disneyland and just have a day together as a team and have some fun. It was a treat to spend a whole day at the happiest place on earth. A lot of the team split into groups and the guys ended up spending most of the day just hanging out and going from ride to ride. It was such a joy to have time just to have fun. Now we're ready to head back tomorrow and see what God has in store for us back in Oregon.

Last Day Of Services- 5/17/2009

There is always that day that comes on a teip that is very sad. That day is always the day that we do our last service. This day was no different. Now, it was a Sunday which ment that we were able to do a lot of services, but it still means that when you get to that last one and it is all done, its over. So, it was a sad day, but, we did have the opprotunity to do some awesome ministry today. First we had the privalage of attending Parampunt Praise Chapel for their Sunday morning service and just enjoy that. Second, we went to Orange and ministered at a church where the Praise Chapel Frontline Warriors meet. The Frontline Warriors is a biker church. Lastly, we were able to go out to Azusa and minister at their service.

Paramount was awesome as always and a great way to start the day. When we got to Orange and met up with the chruch, we knew that it was going to be a good service. Pastor Chris shared a powerfull message and uring the altar call, people came up to recieve salvation, it was awesome.

After that service, we went to Azusa and met up with Pastor Woody who showed us around his church. We were able to do some dramas and skits for them as well as have Pastor Danny come and share his word for them. I think God knew exactly what this church was needing because, the dramas and skits and the word just hit it exactly. It still blows me away that every single time, God knows what needs to be said and when it needs to be said.

So, yes it is a sad day, but God uses sad days just as much as he uses happy days. Speaking of happy days, tomorrow we have been blessed with the opportunity to go to Disneyland and have a day just to have fun before we go home. It is going to be really nice to go and just have a fun day together as a team.

Old Building New Faces- 5/16/2009

Today was an especially exciting day for us. Tonight we had the opportunity to minister at Paramount, but not just Paramount. It was Paramount' Spanish Service. Earlier in the day, we were able to go help out at an outreach that Praise Chapel Stanton was putting on in Anahiem. It was really cool to be able to go and do dramas for them and go to their houses and invite them out for a free BBQ.

So in Paramount, we went to the building that Fresh Fire used to have church in. It is now used for their spanish church. They were putting on a big event and invited a lot of the spanish churches out. So we got to go their and do the ministry. So it was really cool to be able to go and see them all come together. They had one of the most amazing bilingual worship services. They did some songs in english and some in spanish, they even did some with both. We did our dramas and Pastor Danny shared a powerfull message. It took him some time to get used to having a translator, but he did and God showed up. The service went great and we got to go out with them afterwards and hang out.

Over To Gardena- 5/15/2009

Today started off with a lot of excitment, The team splitted up angain. Team A, which was all the guys went to A Worship Facilaties Conference in Long Beach. Team B, the girls, went and hung out with Pastor Angel, from Paramount, and his family. After that was all done we met back up and went to a service in Gardena.

We got to the church and met with their youth leader, David Tijerina. We got to talk to him a little bit about what he has been doing in his community. It is really cool to see him in a little town changing it for Christ. We had the privalage to be able to go and minister to them. Service was so good and Pastor Danny's word hit home with what their pastor had been talking about. It was an amazing time and God did some really cool things. After service we were able to fellowship with them and we played games for like an hour afterwards

Lots To Do In Only One Day- 5/14/2009

Today was a very action packed day. Started out with class then we split up and had Chris, David, and the first years went to Ariel's old high school, Long Beach Poly. Danny, Brittany, and Casey went to Orange to help them distribute food boxes to people that came to get them. After that, everyone met up in San Bernadino to minister at a service there.

Going to Ariel's high school was really cool. We got to see some of her old teachers and talk to some of the people she worked with at the school. She showed us all around and then we were able to go to their bible club meeting during lunch and Ariel was able to share a word with them and we got to just talk and hang out with them. It was really cool to be able to go into a high school during school and minister.

For us at Orange, it was really cool to be able to go and just be there for them, to do whatever they needed. We helped them put food boxes together and then gave them to anyone who came in looking for some help. It was a great way to just be able to share the love of God with people.

When we all met back up in San Bernadino, we were really excited to meet Pastor Victor and to minister at his church. Before service, we had an incredible prayer time with him and some of his church members and without any hesitation we went into an awesome time of worship. God did some cool things during worship. After worship, we did not have a lot of time, we did some dramas that really were to bless them and Pastor Chris shared a quick word with them. We thought that because we were so rushed that we were not as affective as we could be but, God doesn't have a time restraint and doesn't need a lot of time to make an impact. So many people came and just told us how blessed they were. After the service, the church staff came and prayed for us and anointed us with oil. Not only did we get to bless them but they blessed us. It was so cool.

Two Services, One Day- 5/13/2009

Today was another one of those awesome opportunities that we were able to go and minister at two different places tonight. Team A (Chris and Fam, David, Brittany, and Rel) all went to San Jacinto and Team B(Danny, Audrey, Casey, Mike, and Ranae) went to Stanton. Isn't it cool how God can be in two places at once because he showed up at both services and had his way with them.

Team B, had a great time ministering in Stanton and were able to do a lot of dramas as well as Pastor Danny sharing a word with them. God was able to speak through Danny and use him to just talk to those people.

Team A, also had a great service in San Jacinto. God moved through the dramas and Chris spoke about remaining in him. After the service we were able to pray with the pastor Randy and his wife Nichelle. Chris gave the pastor a word about having the heart of David and it turns out that is the 9th time he has gotten that word since he has been there for a year. Chris also told him about a vision he had of a ship breaking through these barriers of ice. As soon as Chris said that, Pastor Randy asked if Chris had been in his office. Chris was surprised and said no. Pastor Randy said you have to come see my boat. We went to his office and he had a boat on a table that was huge. He told us about someone in his church who wanted to bless him and so he made him a boat out of trash and gave it to him. He keeps the boat in his office as a sign of what they are going through and what they can get through. It was amazing to see how God was working there.

Tomorrow, some poeple will be going to Ariel's old highschool Long Beach Poly High School for a bible study and everyone else is going to Orange to help give out some food boxes and then we will all meet back up and go to our service in San Bernadino. It's going to be awesome.

Helping Out In Orange- 5/12/2009

We are Masters Commission know that ministry is not all about just speaking from a pulpit or doing dramas. Ministry is building the kingdom of God and that is what we like to do. A little while back, Pastor Danny was talking to Pastor Ted Ryeback from Praise Chapel Orange, and told him that we were going to be having an open day today. Pastor Ted told him what was going on out there and said that he had a lot of things to get done before their harvesters starts this weekend. Pastor Danny was more then ready to jump on that opportunity.

So, today we went and helped Pastor Ted get ready for Harvesters. He did have a lot to do but, we are Masters and no job is to big. We helped him to clean the church and organize their attic to clear out a lot of the junk they had. He also needed help fixing the skateboard park that they have outside their youth center. We had to pull off old boards and replace them so no one got hurt. We got a lot more done then Pastor Ted was expecting and where very happy to help them get things done.

After we had done all of that, we wanted to do something as a team and decided to all go to the beach. We got to play in the water, and the crazy thing is that you don't freeze in this ocean like you do in our oceans back home. We also got to throw around the football and build a sand castle with dual walls that were still easily destroyed by the tide. It was a lot of fun and we had a great time as a team.

Remaining Focused- 5/11/2009

Today was a good day. We started off the day with a time of prayer and devotions. David spoke a message on the new element of discipleship, which is Eternally Minded. He talked about the importance of being focused on eternity and not just the things of this life. Now, we did not have a service today, but, we did take this opportunity to have some class time.

Today was also a day for us as a team to do things to bring us closer together and work on some stuff that needed done. It was a great team building day and we can not wait to go to Orange tomorrow and help them set up for thier upcoming harvesters event. We do not only come to do services but we come to build the kingdom. That is whaqt we are going to do.

Going To The Momma Church- 5/10/2009

It is really cool that on mothers day we get to go to the mother church of the Praise Chapel fellowship. The church that started it all with pastor Mike and Donna Neville. We met pastor Donna when we came to LA last time in Redondo Beach with pastor Mondo Luna. She was a guest speaker during there 3rd year anniversary service and we were doing some dramas. She loved the dramas and told us that we just had to come and minster at her church.

The day that we got to go and minister just happened to be, Mothers day. We were able to do two dramas, one of which really had to do with mothers day. Pastor Donna spoke a wonderful message about mothers and all the things she lurned from her mother. It was a really good message and we were all very blessed to be there for that service. Tomorrow, we will be working on school and taking care of some buisness for our church back home.

On The Road Back To LA- 5/9/2009

So we finished everything up In Hanford this morning and were able to pray with them before they went to do a car wash with the youth. We said our goodbyes and hit the road for LA. It was not to long of a trip and were very excited to pull into Ariel's mom's house again. She was more then happy to welcome us and begin the amazing hospitality that she always gives us.

Today, we had nothing scheduled to do but we found out that they were have a BBQ and rap concert over at Paramount Praise Chapel (Ariel and Ranae's home church.) So most of the group went to the concert and had a really good time hanging out with people and listening to some rap music. The rest of the team went to the mall and did some looking around.

Tomorrow, we will be going to Momma Praise Chapel, or Huntington Park Praise Chapel. It is the momma church because it is the church that started it all. We can not wait to go and minister at there special mothers day service. We are expecting great things from God and can not wait to see what he is going to do.

Where In The World Is Hanford CA- 5/8/2009

Well before this trip, none of us knew where Hanford CA was. Well I can tell you that we deffanetly know where it is now. Today we were able to hit the streets of Hanford, passing out flyers and talking to anyone were saw, inviting them to come to the special service that we would be ministering at. We also got to hit up the high schools and pass out a lot of flyers. Also, today pastor Danny, Kori, the kids, and Ariel headed down to L.A. to go to a wedding.

Tonight started off great as we began to see lots of people show up for the service. We really wanted to hit the night hard with a lot of skits and dramas because there church had a heart for it as well as using them to minister to all of the visitors. It went really well, above all of that, God showed up through pastor Chris's message. There was a lot of people that came up for the altar call.

Oh and did I mention that they were having a free bbq after the service. Talk about awesome. It was a great time for us to get poeple just to come over and hang out. We were able to fellowship and just have a good time with all the people here in Hanford.

Day 1, So Cal Invasion- 5/7/2009

It has officially started, The 2009 spring So Cal trip is upon us. Today we traveled to Hanford CA, a small little town in the middle who knows where. It is near Fresno, which means that we will get to see some of our peps from Fresno. Despite all the excitement that happened on the road, like tire blowouts, we made here at about 9:00 o'clock. Pastor James Purser was more then happy to great us and show us the building. They were just finishing a Spanish service at the church and after that, they had provided an amazing diner for us. We ate and fellowshiped together, it was a really good time of stories and grub.

Tomorrow, we are going to be going out into the community with one of the youth members here, Jesus, is going to be taking us to pass out flyers in the community and try to get people to come to the service that we will be having tomorrow night. We can't wait to see what God is going to do this trip and are so excited for all the things that are starting to happen here even in the beginning of the trip.

Spring So Cal Invasion- 5/7/2009

Today is the start of the 2009 spring so cal trip. We are getting started early and are expected to make it down south in the evening. We are planing on this trip to be one that God just completely takes over and does what he wants to do on this trip. It is also very exciting because we are going to be going to a lot of new churches this trip and that is always a big thing for us. So as always be checking the website often for pictures, blogs, and updates on the things going on, and to get a better idea of what we are doing on the trip follow us on twitter at crossfiremc.

Its A Sad Day- 2/20/2009

Team A had an amazing day. We had the privilege to go and minister at Bell Gardens Praise chapel for their Friday night Alive service. It is the service where all the families come to church and the youth get to minister to them. So it was a special treat to be able to go and minister to their whole church but in a youth type setting. The youth led worship and they even did some of their own dramas that were really cool and it was nice to have a change of pace and see someone else do some dramas.

It was about 8:30 when we took over and had the opportunity to minister to them. We were able to do some dramas that really made an impact as well as deliver an amazing message that really challenged a lot of their congregation. We had such a good time that we were there until after 10 o'clock praying and worshiping. We also had some time just to fellowship with them and talk to all of our friends. We did have to leave before 11 though because we have to go home tomorrow and need to pack the truck and get ready for the long sad but happy ride home. It is always bitter sweet. We get to come home, but we leave behind the home that we ave made here with all these churches.

Well for team B, today was our last day at the Masters Commission Conference. Oh what an amazing day. We started off the morning with Ministry Breakouts. So we all went our ways to the different breakouts such as worship, drama, dance and starting a Masters Commission. You can just say that God challenged us, used us and planted seeds where we didn't think they'd be planted! Through these breakouts we also got to make some new friends from different MC's.

In afternoon breakouts Ariel got to experience the A B C's of evangelism, Mike had the opportunity to be in unity with others that feel called to a youth ministry, Casey and Pastor Chris learned how to support their pastors vision with their Masters Commission and Renae was educated in fundraising, businesses through ministry and New Ministry ideas with Pastor Mark and Pastor Shawn Marcell. What an outpouring of God in all these breakouts, also being in unity as body of Christ. Not only did these breakouts educate us and provide wisdom but also was a great way to encourage, pray and meet one another. Now getting down to where it all ended but truly wasn't the ending of what God is doing in out lives as a team and students.

Worship! Worship! Worship! Being real with God was something He dealt with all of us tonight through worship. The whole night was a combination of Pastor Lloyd preaching and Frontline worship team leading us into His presence. As God wanted us to be completely transparent and honest with Him we were broken, we embarrassed our flesh tonight and said God "Look at me inside are you pleased with what you see.."(Lyrics by Frontline Worship Team) Nothing mattered at this point God was moving in us and seeds were planted as things that are no longer apart of us left us. This night was truly a night that we need to share and impart to others that were not able to share the experience and also become accountable to the call and visions that God imparted in us tonight. In all we do God may we continue to stay focused and passionate about You and all that you have for us.

1st Day Of Conference- 2/19/2009

For team B, it was the first day of conference here in Fort Worth, Texas. We were all so excited. The first years who have never been to a conference had no idea what to expect and Casey and Chris were very excited to see how the conference was going to be now that it is not in Pheonix. Opening session was amazing and we got to worship God in such a cool way. Frontline live is nothing like Frontline on a Cd. Frontline in the Masters worship team incorparated with MC USA. We also got to go to some really cool workshops and had the most amazing night session. We cant wait to see what God is going to do tomorrow.

As for team A, it was another awesome day here in LA. It was a day of spending time with all our friends down here. We spent the early part of the day with some of the people from Orange. At night Pastor Angel and Dez came over with some of the guys from Paramount and we just got to hang out with them for a while. We went to dinner with them and just had fun telling stories and laughing with each other. Tomorrow we have a service in Bell Gardens CA, where we will be ministering at their family service, Friday Night Alive. We are really excited to go and minister as well as see.

Two Praise Chapels In Two States- 2/18/2009

Team A is here in LA still and excited for what God has been doing and we have the awesome opportunity to go to Orange tonight and attend the service at Youth A Flame which is the main praise chapel church down here in LA. It was really cool to be able to go to thier service and just have a good time. Listening to an amazing sermon and spending time with all our friends from Orange.

For Team B the mid-day started by embracing the 85 degree weather and at the Texas stadium. Rel was practically jumping out of her seat as we pulled into the driveway of the stadium. Taking pictures of everything in her sight. After catching a quick lunch at McDonalds, we got lost in Dallas, Texas (Maggie was not cooperating) looking for the Sixth Floor museum. Being able to walk on history and ride on the trolley as we viewed downtown Dallas was a bunch of fun.

In search of a Starbucks we finally find one, get changed and head to Praise Chapel Dallas. As we arrive people remember Pastor Chris from back in July so that was awesome. Worship was so powerful. It was a great time to receive something from God. Pastor Ernest preached on perseverance and as Christians we need to get rid of those obstacles that are stopping us from persevering and getting deeper with God. It was awesome to just receive from God, sometimes we just need time to meet with God and allow him to move in our lives individually, a little momentum to keep us going and that was exactly what it was tonight. As we closed out the night we would like to thank Pastor Ernest and Mrs. Bunny for a great time of fellowship and for a delicious dinner. And also getting to talk to missionary Melinda Menchaca from Estonia.

Headed To Dallas- 2/17/2009

So, day 2 of the split and team B is headed to Dallas, while team A came back from Mexico today and went to eat lunch with Danny's mom Denise and his two sisters Abby and Ruby who flue into LA today. It was really nice to see them and spend some time with them. We had the rest of the day to relax and prepare for what is to come.

Most of Team B's day today was spent sitting down going from one place to another. We left Bellflower early this morning (Thank you so much Shelly for letting us stay with you again!) to catch our flight from Long Beach Airport into Austin, Texas.

Once we got to Austin we found our rental car, a Chevy HHR, and hit the road for Desoto, Texas, which is where we'll be staying during the MCIN conference. The drive was uneventful but we endured sustained by Starbucks, Frontline worship, and our excitement for the conference. We are very excited to see what God is going to do at the MCIN conference 2009.

We Are Devided- 2/16/2009

Today was the first big day of the team split. Yesterday was only a little portion. Team A left early in the morning and drove straight to Mexico. Team B stayed behind and rested for the conference in Dallas Texas. Team A is made up of Danny, Audrey, David, and Brittany. Team B is made up of Chris, Casey, Mike, Ariel, and Ranae.

So, Team A went to Mexico where we met up with Hosea, a friend from Church back home, at the American embassy in Tijuana, Costco. After we met up with him, he took us to pastor Hectors house up in the hills of Tijuana. They had scheduled for us to go and minister in the same house we did last time with the big group. So we made our way over to Alissa's house where a lot of kids had gathered and we were able to share with them just about love and talked to them about putting on the armor of God every day. We also were able to have some fun with them by doing some dramas and giving them all candy after we were done. It was very cool.

The weather was not on our side while we were there and it was getting bad at this point so we had to drive out of there because the road would have been to bad to drive out. So, we went back to pastor Hectors house where we were able to enjoy the meal that Alissa had prepared for us. They were the most amazing tacos. We were then able to go to the church and see all the progress that they had made on the reconstruction. It was also very interesting to see what happens to the church when it rains because they do not have a roof yet. We were able to take some video footage and just talk with pastor Hector. We then had to head for the boarder due to the weather again. There is nothing like driving through feet of water in the middle of the road. Driving past cars that are in water up to the engine. It was definitely an amazing experience.

It Was A Fun Filled Day Today- 2/15/2009

Wow, what to say about a day with so much packed into it. We really were all over the place today. The day started off with a split team. Chris, Audrey, David, Mike, and Ranae, went to Redondo beach for a service at Redondo Praise Chapel, formally known as Torrance Praise Chapel. They just recently moved to Redondo and we had the privilege of being with them for their 3rd year anniversary which has become a tradition for us. The other half of the team, Danny, Casey, Brittany, and Ariel went to a church that we have not been to yet. They were more then exited to go and minister at Long Beach Praise Chapel. Both services went really well and God did some very powerful things.

Now, if you think that is crazy, later the whole team met up and drove to Corona Praise Chapel were we had the privilege of ministering at our first bilingual service. It was very different but very exciting at the same time. God completely changed the service when we got there and decided that we were going to go with a different message, but, it appeared to be exactly what they needed, because there was a huge response at the end of the service and they all seemed very receptive of what God was saying. It is very cool to see that God uses us to minister despite languages.

Singles Awareness Day- 2/14/2009

As most of you know, we do celebrate singles awareness day here in Masters Commission. We found all sorts of things to go and do to have a fun filled day. We went to the Cerritos Mall and we went to the 3rd street promenade in Santa Monica to watch all the street performers and just have a good time. It was a lot of fun, especially when two of our students, Casey and Brittany, were pulled into the dance act of one of the performers. Overall, it was a great day.

It Feels Like Home- 2/13/2009

It always feel like home when we come to praise chapel Paramount. It may be because it is the home church of Ariel and Ranae, two of our first years. It might also be that they are just so amazing that they make us feel at home. Pastor Angel and Desiree are always very excited to have us come, almost as much as we are to come there.

We love ministering at Fresh Fire, the name of their youth group, because they are always so respective to what we say and do. They also create an atmosphere for us that allows us just to be us and also give us the freedom to do whatever God wants to do in that service.

It was really fun to be able to share some dramas with them and it was amazing to see God move through the word. There was a lot of people that responded to the alter call and made a choice to grow closer to God.

We were able to hang out after service and just kick it with them for a while. After we were done at the church we had some people come over the Ariels house and hang out. Fun times and great food, that is really hard to beat. Tomorrow we will be enjoying singles awareness day as a group and just finding some cool stuff to do. Power to all the singles out there who are celebrating this holiday with us.

Way Down South- 2/12/2009

It was a sad morning. We had to leave the amazing hospitality of Maria and Vince. We always have a hard time leaving places. The only thing that gets is bye is knowing that we are headed to another amazing place with amazing people. We drove straight to Bellflower CA, the home of one of our first year students, Ariel. Only to find that her mom Shelly had opened her home and prepared an awesome lunch for us. We took some time to eat and unpack then it was time to head south for Chula Vista CA.

It was really cool in Chula Vista because we ran into some old faces that we had met a long time ago and also some new faces which we were really excited to meet. Pastor Danny brought a powerful word to this church that you could tell they were just needing to hear to be encouraged and lifted up. God was at work in that place and was changing lives. It was an incredible service and it is always cool to go to a church that we have not been to before and meet all the new faces. We hope that this church will become one that we frequent often.

Our First Adult Service On The Road- 2/11/2009

We were incredibly blessed during this morning's devotion. Pastor Doug Mckennis from Epicenter came to our prayer time and brought a word for us about finding beauty from ashes. It was something that really spoke to us and where we are at in our own walk right now. It is crazy how God will do things like that, but he is God. It was such a blessing and we thank him for everything he did for us.

This wasn't actually our first adult service, but it was the first adult service we had the privilege to minister at. We were at Fresno Praise Chapel, which is the same church that Epicenter is at. Tonight was their mid week service and we they asked to come minister. It was really cool to be able to go and just stir up their congregation and shake them into seeing God in a new and exciting way.

In this service. He moved through a lot of the dramas and he moved incredibly through the word that pastor Chris delivered. It was really cool to see God brake off the cement that had been holding back the people of this congregation and start to pull them into ministry.

After service, we all came back to Vince's house with a bunch of people from the church and were blessed with another amazing dinner. We also got to just hang out with a lot of people and get to know them and just build relationships with them. It was a lot of fun, oh and of course we watched lost. Tomorrow we are leaving, which is always sad like we said, but we are going to go down to Chula Vista for a service that we will do at the praise chapel there.

Epicenter Goes Crazy- 2/10/2009

Today was incredible, God decided to show up and tear us all up. Before the service started, while pastor Danny was praying, God pressed on him to have the whole team pray and to press through everything that has been going on. God wanted us to experience something and we were able to press in and really get into it. We prayed for the service and all the people that were going to be there. It was amazing.

God didn't stop during worship either. The epicenter praise and worship team lead worship and it was just awesome. You could feel that God was there in the midst of everything. After worship, pstor Danny brought a message straight from God and challenged each and every person there to make a pledge that they would no longer be the same. They definitely know how to tear it up at epicenter. We will be back there tomorrow for thier adult midweek service and are very excited to see the new and exciting things that God is going to do.

Going To Fresno- 2/9/08

Today was our last day in Sacramento. That is always a sad day. Before we left, we had a really good prayer time at the church. We also had the privilege of hearing pastor Mike give the devotion. It was so funny because he talked about how intimidated he was to speak to us. We don't know why because he God decided to speak straight through him. He spoke about what God was breathing in him and as he spoke we could all feel God breath the same in us. He spoke about being selfless and surrendering our life in order to follow God. It was so good. We did have to then say our goodbyes but we know that it is only for a season as this church will always and forever be apart of who we are.

It was a relativly short drive to Fresno, well short for us. But, we arrived and went to the home of Vince, Maria, and Andy Garza. We are so blessed with them letting us come and invade their home. They also are providng food while we are here. We are so thankful that they have welcomed us with opened arms. It has also been a lot of fun just hanging out with them here.
