Here Is an Update

June 24, 2008

Well I know that it has been a while but here is an update. First off I will mention that right now our youth pastor G Eley is in the hospital with his wife while she is in labor with their first child. We are all very excited for them.

Anyways, we started sales yesterday and things are going really well. We are starting to have people show up to help out, not as much as we would like but it is nice to have some help. Things are shaping up to be a good season and we are all hoping that sales are going to BOOM.

It was our director Chris Cheek's birthday today as well as his little sister Candace's wedding. She got married to a former masters student, graduate from the class of 2007, Daniel Dotte. Chris was really happy to see his little sister get married to someone that he has helped disciple and see grow. We are all very excited for them. Pray for them and pray for us.

Its Tent Time Baby

June 10-11, 2008

Thats right, its tent time. We started setting up the tents. I would also like to apologize in advance. The blog may be a little scarce these next couple of weeks because we are in firework season, but I am going to try to keep you as up to date as possible.

Also, we had another amazing youth service. Danny was going to speak but God changed his mind at the last minute and G got a word and he spoke and it was really good. So pray for us that this whole time goes smoothly and I will try to keep you up to date.

Here We Go

June 8-9, 2008

For our Sunday service, our pastor decided to spice things up a little bit and he used the t.v. screens that we use for our youth church. I think it went over really well. He spoke about being qualified to win the race.

Today was also our last day of down time and tomorrow we start setting up tents for fireworks. Pray for us as we enter this time.

After The Girls Night

June 7, 2008

So the youth girls came out for an amazing night. It was kinda like deja vu of the first girls night. All play no quit all night long. They had a lot of fun and had an amazing opportunity to build relationships with all the girls and were able to tell the girls what it really meant to be beautiful in the eyes of God and not just of man.

Day 2 Of The Calm

June 6, 2008

Day 2 was very relaxing and a great time for some of the Students to hang out with each other. Tonight we will be hosting the second girls night here for Crossfire Youth Church. A lot of the girls put a lot of work into this and are expecting a lot of people. Pray for them and pray for the night.

The Calm Before The Storm

June 5, 2008

When you look back at history, ever major storm on record that this world has ever seen was always right after one of the calmest times also on record. I only explain this because we are in that calm at this moment in time. In one week, we start setting up tents for fireworks. Once that starts it is all business and very little down time. So as preparation for all of that, this weekend will be a time for us as Masters to relax, recuperate and prepare ourselves for what is to come. Today was the first day of our calm.

I Am Iron Man

June 4, 2008

It was a spectacular Wednesday night service this week. Pastor G spoke a message about Iron sharping Iron. The point was that we are all iron man. The only question is which side are we on. We need to Edi Phi one another and build each other up. It was really good and there was a lot of new people tonight which was really cool.

The End Of Our School Year

June 3, 2008

It is already that time of year. The end of the school year means, Finals. We did take our finals for both of our classes today. Overall, the students did really well in both classes. Our first teacher, Mr. Rick Lewis, could not stop talking about how much of a blessing this class has been and how much he looked forward to each class. It made the students feel really good. I know that a lot of them are happy to be done with school this year, but that is only because they have even more time to focus on ministry and serving God with all their hearts.

You Cant Stop The Anointing

June 1, 2008

Our senior pastor, Aaron, just returned from the revival in Florida yesterday and he brought with him something amazing. This morning the service went a little different then normal. He broke the service up into segments in which each one had breakthrough for a lot of people.

Then during our praise and worship service that we had again tonight. God came and was able to do miracles in a lot of people as well as speak to the whole congregation. We had several people who received the gift of tongues as well as many people who spoke words of prophecy. God came and did amazing things. Pastor Aaron definitely brought back some anointing to share with the congregation. He anointed people with a purpose and that purpose will be fulfilled.
