Surprise We Went On The Road

March 27th, 2008

Well we decided that we were going to go on a trip for the weekend. All of the second years and Danny set off for Kennewick WA at 2:30 in the morning. We got there at about 9:30 A.M. It was a really fast trip and we were really happy that we got to see all our friends from Kennewick. They were not able to come to our winter camp because their RV "broke down" but it was all good.

We got to hang out with them for the day and eat dinner with then. They also planed a special youth service for us to come and do some dramas for them and also Danny got to share the word with them. It was amazing.

After the service they built a bonfire in the back behind the church and we all got to roast marshmallows and hot dogs. God moved and we had a great time. Tomorrow we are going to go to Casey's home town Pomeroy WA. We are all really excited to go and spend some time in his home town with his home church.

Christ Is Risen

March 18-24, 2008

This past week was a big one for a lot of people. In Masters, we were dealing with a lot of people that got sick and were in the recovery process. We also were trying to get ready for our special Easter Sunday service. Pastor Aaron is preaching a special illustrated sermon and we had to have some dramas ready for him to use.

The service went amazing. We had a lot of new people come to the church for the first time. It was really cool to be able to pull out more chairs then we ever have before. Above all that, God just rocked the service. He spoke through Aaron and used us to do what it is he wanted us to do. God Showed up and a lot of people got saved.

After the service, all the students had the opportunity to go and spend some time with their families during one of the best holidays of the year. The day we remember that Christ Is Alive.

BTI Is Over But God Is Not Done

Photobucket

March 11-17, 2008

So BTI is over but we know that God is still going to move in mighty ways. This past week we went through a lot of changes and did a lot of knew things in our church and in what we have been doing.

At this weeks youth service, we totally changed things up. We built the stage out to make it bigger, we moved the drums, we added lights, and we used our plasma TV's that we took on the road with us. The kids loved it and pastor G spoke an incredible message.

This week we also had the opportunity to go and help down under the bridge with our field of dreams ministry. They help feed the homeless and we were able to help them cook the food and serve them.

Towards the end of the week, we had a lot of the youth kids come out and practice some dramas with us that we will be doing at our easter service this next weekend. It was really cool to incorporate them into what we do.

Breaking The Ice 08

Photobucket

March 7-9, 2008

BTI 2008 was the best BTI we have ever had. Now, I know that you say that about whatever camp just happened, but it really was. It was by far the best that we have had so far.

We only had about 80 kids come this year, which is a small number for BTI, but the things that God did were incredible. God moved in such a new and dynamic way that He had all the staff going crazy, all the kids went crazy, and every pastor and leader went crazy, not in a bad way.

Each and every single service had such a presence in it that we didn't ever even come close to staying on schedule. God used everyone who touched the mic in such a mighty way that everyone got something good from it.

Our guest speaker this year was Pastor Doug Mckinis from Fresno Praise Chapel. We got to go to Doug's church during our trip and were really excited to have him come speak at our camp. He brought some amazing words and when he prayed for people you could just see Gods words flow from his mouth and speak truth.

Of course, everyone had a fun time doing all the cool stuff as well. The autobahn was just as fun as it always is and there were no major injuries this year, Praise God. Might I add that Crossfire beat Fresno in basketball almost every game. Doug brought 4 people with him but apparently they are not very good at basketball in Fresno.

Like always, none of us wanted camp to end but to close the camp Pastor G spoke a message about living it out and not just living the camp high. He talked about how we need to stand on our word in order to keep moving forward. It was the best way to close at an amazing camp. BTI 08 was amazing.

Back In Our Home Church

Photobucket

February 26 - March 3, 2008

So we are all back home from the trip and in our home church again. It is really good to be around family again. We came back and knew that God was going to turn things up in our church and in our community.

We were able to come home and bless our own church by doing some of them many things that needed done. We also had the opportunity to minister to our own youth church where God just showed up and we only got to share for 15 minutes because of the presence of God.

Being home on Sunday morning was amazing. We got to share all of our stories from the road and talk about all the amazing people that we met, to all of our friends at home. It was an amazing service.

Later that night we had a worship service at the church and were able to come together as a body and worship God with no time restrictions or responsibility to the world. We just got to worship our Father the way we were suppose to.
