We Are Coming Home

Photobucket

February 25, 2008

We are home!!! We actually left yesterday but we stopped in Sacramento overnight so that we didn't die. However, we did make it back today around 6 o'clock. It was a long drive but we are all happy to be back safe and sound.

Double Dose Sunday

Photobucket

February 24, 2008

The reason this blog is called Double Dose is because we got the opportunity to go to two services today, even though it was our last day on the road. In the morning we went to Buena Park, and in the afternoon we went to Torrance again.

In Buena Park, we got to minister to them and were able to show them our hearts and the passion we have to reach the lost. We were able to encourage them to do the same.

Torrance was having there two year anniversary service. We had the opportunity to be with them last year during there one year and again this year for their two year, what a blessing.
They had Praise Chapel Orange come out and do their worship. They also had a guest speaker come and speak but we were able to do some dramas for them.

I can not tell you how much we feel at home with Praise Chapel. Every single one that we go to makes us feel at home. We love all of them so much and were really blessed to be able to share our hearts with them.

We Went To Corona CA

Photobucket

February 23, 2008

Tonight is the last night service of our trip. We are going to Corona CA. We have been to Corona before but not at this church. It is a new building for them and they were still moving stuff in.

Some of the girls that were there, we saw at the elevate conference this last summer and they were in one of our videos. It was funny to see them and remember their faces.

We have done so many services and yet God still has not let up on us, not that he would, but we are still able to just seek God and poor out his spirit wherever we go. God showed up during the service and touched a lot of people. God is so good.

Down In Paramount

Photobucket

February 22, 2008

We had the opportunity to go to one of the churches we did last year. It is called Paramount praise chapel. We were able to go there for their youth service just as we had done last year.

It was so amazing. The worship was better then last year. They have a really blessed an devoted worship team. The service was really good and we were able to minister to them on a whole new level.

Brittany had the opportunity to lead someone to salvation which happened to be her first being able to actually pray that with someone.

This church is the church that sends people to do security for the elevate conferences. So whenever we see them we always give them a hard time about not having our wristbands. It was a lot of fun.

What Happens In LA When It Rains

Photobucket

February 21, 2008

As you see in the title of this blog, it is a question, and now you get an answer. When it rains in LA, nothing happens. The all melt in the rain. We were going to do a street outreach with Youth Aflame but it got canceled because of rain.

Its ok, just because we are from Oregon and know what rain feels like. We still love them all and got to hang out with them a little bit at the church. We will be seeing them again later in the week so its all good.

Earlier in the day we did have an oppurtunity to minister to our waitress in the resturant that we ate at. God still uses people despite the rain.

Youth Aflame, OC Baby

February 20, 2008

Today we get to go to a church that we have been connected with for a long time. It happens to be in the city of Orange CA, in OC baby. It is called Youth-Aflame and it is a praise chapel church. We meet up with them every summer for the praise chapel world conference.

We were able to attend their youth service. Their church is really cool. They have a skate park right outside the door of the church. They also have an amazing worship band that does all the worship for the world conferences.

Danny was able to preach to them about being alive for God. It was really good timing because they were starting a one week media fast. Basically, they are not going to be online, or listen to i pods, or watch TV, or text message. But it was really cool to talk to all of them.

After the service, we got to hang out with a bunch of the people from their church. We already had built a lot of relationships with people from there and it was fun to be able to catch up with them. It was a really fun time.

We Like To Make People Laugh

Photobucket

February 18, 2008

During the day, we got to relax and compose ourselves. We did do a lot of preparation for this weeks services though.

At night, we went to a little place called Tuscon. They asked us to come there and do some funny dramas for them. They had already booked a speaker but really wanted us to come. We went and had a great time. The speaker they bought in was really good to. We all got something out of it.

Crazy Sunday Of Ministry

Photobucket

February 17, 2008

Today we had an amazing day. We had three services that we got to do. We had one in Hawthorne, one in Torrance, and one in Fullerton. We were all over but God had a specific message for each one of those churches.

In Hawthorne, God used Danny to speak a message about seeing God. About walking in the presence of him and what that might cost. We did some dramas and skits. We also got to talk to them some of the outreaches they do in a neighborhood like Hawthorne. It was crazy to hear some of there stories.

Torrance Praise Chapel was a church that we visited last year on their one year anniversary. This year we were there a week before so they asked us to come back so that we could be a part of it again. We are going to stop by their church again next week to be a part of a huge service that they are going to have. We did have a great service though.

Fullerton Praise Chapel was another church that we visited last year. They were in a different building though. This year we showed up and remembered so many people. They remembered us as well. During the service, God just began to speak through Danny. They was a revival in the church and God just took over. So many people were able to come up and just seek God. They all had the feeling that something big was coming and it did. GOD!

After the long day, all we could do was go home and get some sleep. We are just so excited for the things that God is doing in our lives and in this team. We are all praying for revival so bad. God has showed us so much.

We Made It To L.A.

Photobucket

February 16, 2008

We packed up all of our stuff at the house that we had rented. We cleaned up all that we could without cleaning supplies. Loaded all of our stuff and hit the road.

On our way to L.A., Danny started talking to everyone about the revival that was coming. He told everyone to begin to pray and everyone just went for it. We then pulled over just of the freeway and made a memorial in our lives. We all took a water bottle, filled it with dirt, and said that we are not walking in the desert anymore. We are going to walk in the promise land.

We also stopped at the West Coast Vietnam War Memorial on the border of CA. It was a really cool experience to be able to see all the different memorials.
We arrived in L.A. and unloaded all the stuff. The house here is a bit smaller but it is still very nice. We have three services tomorrow so we are all going to bed early so that we will be rested.

Bye Bye Master's Conference 08

Photobucket

February 15, 2008,

It was an early morning for the ones of us that had to go and sell T-shirts this morning, but praise God. We had a great morning session. They did some really good dramas and spoke about being the salt to the world. Masters USA did a drama about the motions of life that was really good.

After lunch, we went to the tools presentation. Tools is where any Masters that wants to presents a new drama that they have written. It really helps give our teams ideas. They were some ok ones, a couple bad ones, and just a few really good ones.

During the night service, Pastor Lloyd Ziegler spoke a message about replacements. He also had a lot of his staff speak. At the end he reveled that we as Masters need to be discipling people and we should all be training up our replacements. After he was done speaking, he had all directors come up and pass on their coat to their asst. Director. Then Pastor Lloyd gave each director a new MC jacket.

We then waited for everyone to buy the rest of there stuff, then we packed up and headed home. Tomorrow, we will be heading over to L.A. We have a jam packed week ahead of us and are excited for what God is going to do.

Master's Conference 08

Photobucket

February 14, 2008

You know that is going to be a good day when you are surrounded by other Masters Commissions. There is over 40 Masters Commissions at this conference. We got to see some faces that we knew, but we saw a lot of new faces. It was an early morning for us, we got there early so that we could set up the display and be ready to start selling. It went really good.

We Had an awesome morning session. We then got to have lunch and sell T-shirts. We split up for workshops, and all learned a lot about Masters. Most of us already knew a lot of what they were talking about but got a lot out of it anyway.

For the night session, we got to see a really cool Dance presentation with black lights and glow paint as part of the welcome to all the different Masters. We also got to see the sword ceremony and the induction of all the new Masters.

We got to have Tommy Barnett as our guest speaker for the night service. He brought it home. The entire room came up to the front and were completely wiped out before God. God moved through the room and spoke in peoples ears. We all got blessed with a multiplication anointing and are ready to see what God is going to do.

Last Day Of Pastor's School

Photobucket

February 13, 2008

Today was the last day of Pastor's school. We started if off with morning session, like always. The worship during the service was awesome. We then did our early morning workshops and then had lunch. We went to the mid day session, then to our last workshop.

The night session is where God really decided to show up. All it was, was a big praise concert and God really just hit all of us hard. He spoke dreams to people and changed other peoples lives. Then we all went up to the Prayer Pavilion to put our bucket lists up there so that people would be praying for them all year.

Kickin It At Pastor's School

Photobucket

February 12, 2008

The first full day of Pastor's school kicked off with an amazing session in the main auditorium. Pastor Tommy Barnett, spoke about having dreams and making those dreams come true. He told everyone to write down a bunch of dreams they had and put it into these buckets. He called it a bucket list. The whole time, they were doing amazing dramas and skits to go along with it.

After session, we had our first workshops. All the students and staff split up and went to different ones. Some really liked the ones they went to, others did not. Everyone did get something out of each one tho.

During lunch, a lot of the students went to a drama presentation that PF was putting on in their youth pavilion. Some of the students also climbed "Prayer Mountain," it is actually more like a hill but they call it Prayer Mountain. After lunch we got back together for another brief session and some prayer.

We then all got the opportunity to go out on their buses and get people to come to see their illustrated sermon. They do it every year and always get a lot of people in off the streets.
It was a really good experience for everyone to just get on the streets and ask people to come to church.

The illustrated sermon that Tommy spoke was just amazing. It was very interactive and had a really good point. He was talking about rebounding. Being a good Christian does not mean that you have to make all your shots, rather when you miss you need to go after the rebound and try it again. It spoke to a lot of our hearts and changed our lives. God really moved in the place and so many people got saved.

Pastor's School

Photobucket

February 11, 2008

Tonight is the first night if Pastor's school. It is held at Pastor Tommy Barnett's Church, in Phoenix AZ. It is one of the biggest churches around and is just an amazing sight to see. The church is called Phoenix First Assembly Of God. It is a really big church.

Tonight, we got to see the parade of ministries. It was awesome to see how many things that PFA is doing in their community. They have about 250 ministries in their church. The best one that they have, is of course, Masters Commission. The program was actually founded in that church. We are all excited to see what God is going to do during this conference.

Needles Are Not Our Friends

February 10, 2008

Today was our last day in Kingman. We packed up all of our stuff and loaded it up. We invited the youth pastors wife, Leah, to come and do a podcast with us. She was more then happy to. So go check out our new podcasts to hear what she had to say.

The church was hosting a blood drive today at their church. Most of the students went and gave blood. It was a fun experience for all. Some of them could not do it because they were sick. But we were all glad that we could help out people in need.

Our next stop is Phoenix. We are excited and ready for what God is going to do during Pastor's School and Master's Conference. We know that it is going to be awesome.

We saw John Bevere

Photobucket

February 8, 2008

Kingman First Assembly, is hosting a conference tonight. They are going to have John Bevere as their guest speaker. We got invited to come and listen to what he had to say. We all felt very blessed being able to hear someone like that speak. They also wanted us to help them sell some of his products. All the girls helped sell and they all got a free book.

John spoke a message about Honor, the rewards of Honor and who we should Honor. It was a really good message. Everyone in Masters, got something out of what John spoke during the message. After the message, John prayed out loud for people that the Lord was putting on his heart. He prayed for someone who had a pain in their right wrist. It just so happened to be one of our first year students, Kaylena. Her pain left as soon as he prayed for it. It was an awesome night and god really spoke to us.

No More Smell

Photobucket

February 7, 2008

Today, everyone was able to do laundry, Praise God! There was a funk begging to build. We all got together and went over what was going to happen tomorrow. We set up some books and stuff for a conference that the church is having tomorrow.

We also got to work with their drama team. We were able to go over some drama skills with them and see some of their stuff. We went over how to have an effective drama team. We then packed up our display and got ready to go. We won't be leaving until Saturday, but it is good to be prepared.

Awesome Service In Kingman

Photobucket

February 6, 2008

We left Fresno at 3:00 A.M. All of us stayed up except for Chris and Danny. They had to drive so they slept. As soon as we got in the van, everyone fell asleep. It was a 8 hour drive to Kingman AZ. We had a service to do that night and needed to prepare.

We got there and set up the display. We had our worship team members practice with theirs. Then we got ready for the service.

In Kingman, they have a lot of kids who come. You could tell by the way they worshiped that they loved God. Danny preached a message about sanctification, or being set apart. It really hit hard. It ended up being the biggest altar call we have had. A lot of kids were able to come forward and find God. It was an amazing night.

Rocking It Up In Fresno

Photobucket

February 5, 2008

We got to hang out with Pastor Doug today. We shared all kinds of stories and got to know the person who is going to be speaking at our B.T.I. winter youth camp. We also had an amazing breakfast with our awesome home openers. We learned some new dramas to do at the night service and got ready for that.

People started showing up around 6:00 P.M. We kicked off the service with an awesome time of worship. They know how to rock in praise chapel. We did some dramas and skits, but when Danny took the mic to preach, God took over. Danny spoke a combination of messages that he has spoke in the last year, but the words were not from him, they were from God.

Afterwards, we got to say goodbye and hang out with some of the staff there until 3:00 A.M. We only stayed so long because Chris and Danny needed to sleep before we left to head to Kingman Arizona. It was a lot of fun just to be able to hang out with their people and form relationships that last for ever. We were not to sad to leave them though. We would be seeing them all again in a month.

In Fresno, Yeah

Photobucket

February 4, 2008

We went to Fresno CA, today. It was a short drive from Madera. We had a dead battery in the truck before we left but it was easily fixed. We said goodbye to our amazing home openers in Madera and hit the road.

We got to Fresno and met up with their youth pastor, Doug. Doug is going to be our guest speaker at our B.T.I. (breaking the ice) winter youth camp. We also met our home opener, Vince. They showed us around the church and we helped them set up for the youth service.

While we were there, we also got our new t-shirts in. We had some new designs made and we got them in Fresno. So we had to fold all of them and put them in our display. The shirts look amazing.

We made it over to Vince's house, where they were making about a million pizzas for us; seriously, a million. The pizzas never stopped coming. In the end we, all we could say is thank you and that we would defiantly have to come back to Fresno.

Madera CA

Photobucket

February 3, 2008

It was an early morning for all of us in Madera. We got in at about 2:30 A.M. We unloaded and got to bed really fast. We had to get up at 7:45 A.M. We were all in a rush to get ready so that we could present ourselves to the pastor at 8:30. Pastor Fred showed up in a Joe Montana Jersey. We knew that this was our kind of church.

Service started at 10:00 A.M. Worship was amazing, then they turned the service over to us. We did some skits and dramas. Danny brought a challenging message for everyone in the congregation. We were able to really challenge them all to not live in Christian comfort. So we prayed encouragement to all of them and then they prayed for us.

After the service, we were invited over to watch the super bowl at the house of our home opener for the night. We got there and learned that they were making us dinner. We were so greatfull and very happy that we got to watch the game. We were all very happy when the Giants won. But we are all looking to get a good nights rest. We are ready for what God has for us next.

Sad Day In Sac

Photobucket

February 2, 2008

It was a sad morning. Today we knew would be our last day here and we knew that we were going to miss everyone. Mike had the day off so we got to hang out with him. We were also able to get a lot of the stuff ready to go. We also still managed to practice some drama stuff for the night's service.

On Saturday nights, "The Meeting Place," has a dinner service. They all get together at 6:00 P.M. and eat dinner together. Although this time, we got to treat them to dinner. Audrey cooked a meal for everyone times 2. She made some enchiladas, rice, and beans. One of the church members cheated. Fred brought some home made bean burritos, they were really good.

After Dinner, we were able to worship together. At the end of worship, we had a time of just being silent in the presence of the Lord. God touched the hearts of all the people their. After the silence, Chris preached a message about "Who Is This Jesus That You Follow." We did a drama at the end of it and then prayed.

After the prayer, their church was able to pray and bless us. Two of the women in the church, a mother named Patti, and a daughter named Rhonda, gave us each a pen with a cross on it as a remembrance of them. They all told us how blessed they were to have us. We felt like the ones blessed. We could not be happier then to share the love of God with them. We said goodbye to all, loaded the truck and trailer and hit the road. Our next stop is Madera, CA.

Back In Sac

Photobucket

February 1, 2008

We did not get a whole lot of sleep last night. It was a late night thanks to folk over in Stockton. But praise God because we woke up and were able to get some showers. Since God moved so strong the night before we decided to do a similar service to the one that we did in Stockton. So we went over all the things we did last night and God was still just pushing on our hearts.

When it came time to start the service, we were all really pumped up and ready to go. When the people began to show up, we were playing some videos for them that we had made in the past. They were all able to get a laugh out of the videos.

Service started and we had a time of worship. Crystal was able to share her testimony this time. All the women in the audience cried because they could feel the emotion behind her testimony. Danny, spoke the same message that he did in Stockton and we did the same dramas, but God did new things in the lives of the people and us.

This time there was no food but we did get to just hang out with them. The people in this church are just so nice and want nothing more then to be able to just share stories and talk about common interests. We love being here and hope that God continues to do what he has planed for us.

Going To Stockton

Photobucket

January 31, 2008

Today, we are getting to go to Stockton, which is a town very close to Sacramento. We are going there to a church that we visited a couple years ago. It is called "Family Worship Center." Their Pastors name is Ron. His wifes name is Millet, she is from the Philippines.

As soon as we got there, people began to just love on us and we knew that God was going to do something special. We got to talk with a lot of people from the church and get to know them. We meat two twin brothers who just loved the Lord.

We started the service off by worshiping the Lord together. Everyone could just feel the presence of the Lord. God started something in that worship service and he did not let up all night. We were able to poor into to them by doing dramas and Danny was able to preach an awesome message about walking in the presence.

After He was done preaching, we gave an altar call and prayed for people. Chris started to get pumped up and began to just get into God. We were able to anoint their whole church. God just moved and everyone was filled with the presence of God. It was so amazing.

It finally calmed down, well at least sound wise, and we had a time of fellowship and food. These churches sure now how to take care of Master's Students. They always seem to feed us after church. We spent so long just talking to the pastor and the people there that we did not leave until almost midnight. We still had a 45 minute drive ahead of us but God was just so amazing that it didn't matter.

Our First Service On The Road

Photobucket

January 30, 2008

Day 3 started off just like the rest, with prayer. After prayer we got to go do our INSTE classes and do a lot of our school work. We then continued to get ready for what God was going to do in our firsts night service. We did a lot of drama practice and even had David prepare a short word to give during the service. We also had Steven prepare a testimony of how he ended up coming to masters.

People started showing up at about 6:30. We were able to reconnect with some of the people that we had meet on our previous trips, as well as some new people. Pastor Mike and Dottie, his wife, showed up and were just excited for the service.

We did some worship in the beginning. We were able to do some dramas and skits for them. David, and Chris both spoke a message. But one thing that was really exciting was, that Steven was able to share his testimony. Afterwards, we found out that there was a man in the front row, his name was Fred, that was deaf in one ear. He called Steven out after the service. Steven was feeling embarrassed and like he messed up everything he said. But Fred was able to tell Steven that when he spoke, his ear was opened and he could here. Fred gave Steven a pen and told him to always remember this time. Through Steven God was able to heal someone through the words that he spoke.

It was a really good service and we were all impressed with what God did. After the service, we had a time of fellowship just to get caught up with each other. Brittany was able to connect with some of the young girls that were here at the service. We ate some pizza and said goodbye. We were all in a really good mood because of what God had done.

Getting Ready

Photobucket

January 29, 2008

We woke up on Tuesday morning really refreshed and ready to start getting things prepared for what God was going to do in Sac. We mentioned that we had all written down some thing that God had shown us. We combined all those things and printed them all out on a big list. We gave a copy of the list to each person and told everyone just to be observant.

We were surprised when out of nowhere, a bunch of women just walked into the church. We said "Mike there are a bunch of old ladies here." He came out of the back and realized that he had forgotten that they had a womens bible study scheduled for the same time. So, all of our girls were invited to join them and they got to just spend time with the ladies of the church in a fellowship time.

The rest of us helped Danny set up our on the road office in the back room of their church. You always half to have a place to work, even when you are on the road. It did not take long for it to look like our office back home. We tried to cram three people onto a tiny little desk. But hey praise God that we have a space.

After lunch we were pretty much at the beckon call of the church. We did a lot of stuff to help Pastor Mike out. We cleaned the church, cleaned the bathrooms, set up chairs and tables for the services, and any other little random jobs that he needed done. We spent a little bit of time just being able to talk to Mike and just catch up a little bit on what had happened since the last time we were here. His church had gone through a lot of changes since the last time. They were no longer meeting on a Sunday, but on Wednesday and Saturday nights. They also had moved out of there main building and over into there youth center. They now call themselves "The Meeting Place" and create a more just open environment to allow people to come and meet together and be filled up. But it got late so fast and we still had a lot to do, so we said goodnight and finished doing all the little tedious things that needed to be done. The little things never stop coming. We were just glad that we were able to serve their church and serve their pastor.

On The Road Again

Photobucket

January 28, 2008

We Left our home church of Crossfire in Eugene OR, at 1:30 P.M. We drove strait through till we got to Redding CA. We were able to stop there and get some dinner at Round Table Pizza. Just so happens that Round Table Pizza is Casey's favorite place to eat. While we were there we got to meat up with one of our students dads. David's dad was able to come and eat with us because he lives in the area. After dinner, we drove strait to Sacramento.

We got there at about 11:00. As soon as we got there, God began to just move on the team and speak to all of us. We got out of the van and he just began to speak visions to all the students and staff. We began to just pray for each other and the city. God just built a lot of excitement in each and every one of us.

We then went inside and God continued just to speak to us. After awhile we were able to gather all our thoughts. Danny told us to write down all of the things that God had been showing us. He said that we were going to combine them and be looking for the things that he said while we are here in Sac. We did not get done with all until very late. But we were happy that God was getting us excited for the trip.
